We are heading to the Valencian Tuscany to discover the best wineries in Valencia!

Utiel-Requena, a protected designation of origin, is located less than 1 hour from Valencia and is an area full of valleys and vineyards in which the main economic engine is wine.

This wine tradition dates back to the 7th century BC. and it is one of the oldest in the world.

And this excursion will fully immerse you in the villas par excellence where Valencian wine is produced.

You will discover the wine-making processes and the vineyards' fields, allowing you, during the season (August-September), to taste the grapes right from the vine and in October, participate in grape stomping.

Utiel-Requena is a gift for the senses, a visual symphony of natural beauty and serenity. Its extensive vineyards paint the landscape with shades of green and gold that change with the seasons, from the lush spring to the golden autumn of the grape harvest. Rolling hills and mountains hug the vineyards, offering majestic panoramas with picturesque villages dotted around.

A place to disconnect and immerse yourself in the harmony of the land and the wine.

On the excursion we will get to know two places, one located in Requena and the other in Utiel: first we will go to Murviedro Winery and then we will go to Vera de Estenas Winery.

Murviedro Historical Winery

Our first stop will be at the iconic Murviedro Historical Winery, located in the heart of Requena's picturesque old town. Here, we will explore its mysterious underground caves, a 12th-century legacy originally used to store wine and food under optimal conditions thanks to their constant temperature. In this captivating setting, you'll enjoy a guided visit that includes the tasting of a fine wine inside the caves. The experience continues in the main tasting room, where you can savour two additional wines.

Vera de Estenas Winery

Unique for its setting, you'll find yourself surrounded by vineyards of immense beauty that encircle an authentic and well-preserved historic villa. This modernist winery, dating back to 1876The winery has been passed down through generations, preserving tradition, craftsmanship, and a deep passion for creating the finest wines in the region. You'll feel at home amidst nature and tranquility as you enjoy a guided tour of the imposing estate, culminating with a tasting of three Valencian wines in the gardens with a delicious appetizer.

Tasting of 3 Vera de Estenas wines paired with local cheeses and cured meats.

The excursion is a half day (in the morning) starting at 8:30 a.m. and arriving in Valencia at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Family-Friendly Tour:

This excursion is designed for the whole family to enjoy. Both at Murviedro and Vera de Estenas, children will be offered grape juice (non-alcoholic) to taste and will be included in the appetizers. At Murviedro, they can explore the fascinating underground caves, while at Vera de Estenas, they will have the chance to play freely in the gardens in a safe and secure environment.

Purchase conditions

Once the order has been formalized, that is, with the acceptance of the General Purchase Conditions and confirmation of the purchase process, we will always send an email to the Customer confirming the details of the purchase made.

Valencia&Go will accept cancellations of orders under the conditions indicated to continuation. To make the cancellation you must request it by sending an e-mail to reservas@valenciaandgo.com.

You must bear in mind that:

- Reservations for walking tours, excursions, and experiences can be cancelled or modified up to 24 hours in advance. The tailor-made experiences have special conditions (check general conditions)

- We do not accept changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours (except for force majeure such as: cruises that cannot dock, cancelled flights or disabling illness with medical proof from the same day of the excursion)

- We will not be held responsible if the clients don't arrive at the meeting point in reached in time, and we will not reimburse the amounts paid. Even when the direction provided by the client is not correct.

- The tours and excursions have a minimum number of participants of 4 peopleIf we do not reach the minimum we will offer another day to carry out the activity or we will proceed to reimburse it.

- Exceptions: exclusively for the activities of Excursion to Cave Paintings and Treasure Hunt, the minimum required to be able to carry out the activity will be 6 people. For the Excursion to Tabarca Island it will be 8 people. The snow getaway is for groups of minimum 25 people (check general conditions)

All reserved and paid products may be changed due to force majeure (bad weather, overbooking...), as long as the cancellation is caused by Valencia&Go, the client will receive the full money.

Valencia&Go will not be responsible for errors caused in the client's collection when the email address, telephone number or collection address entered by the Client in the reservation form does not correspond to reality or has been omitted.

The Customer must check that all the purchase data are correct, once the purchase has been confirmed. If you find an error, you must notify us immediately so that we can make the necessary corrections. Valencia&Go will not be responsible for the errors committed by the client when selecting the product and the desired date.

Consequently, the customer will only have the right to complain about imperfections when he has fulfilled his obligations of examination and claim of errors, whenever he exercises his action within 24 hours after the confirmation of the purchase, and always, at least 24 hours before the date confirmed in the wrong product. Once this period has elapsed, the client will lose any right to claim, understanding the product received in full compliance.
